Default Role call 26th May

looks like a wet one people.

Friday

Sunrise 04:55 (BST)
Sunset 20:59 (BST) 18°C 12°C 15 poor 1014 71

but be thankful.

26th May 1922

Hailstones, the size of tangerines, which fell on Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas in the afternoon, smashed on many shops and office windows. Local suppliers ran out of replacement glass and hundreds of tons had to be ordered from London. It was estimated that in Tunbridge Wells that in a quarter of an hour that 100 tons on the acre fell in Caverley Park and 108 per acre at Hawkenbury - a "truly phenomenal storm".

Yup I'll be there, thanks to the kind assistance of Sarj and Rictus . So inspection will be at 7.30pm prompt; I expect riders to be stood beside their machines, buttons done up and boots polished. 'Shun!

In principle - yes

In practice - possibly

Depends on - the weather and how pooped I am (been working very hard).

And if I do turn up then I'll have a load of Snickers bars with me for you all to have.
