Hi folks,
was hoping someone could clear this up for me. I'm going on tour on my 2000 SV650S, with a mate on his 1998 TL1000 (not sure if is S or R, need to check with him). We wanted to take a spare clutch lever and spare front brake lever, but were hoping if it is possible to buy one of each that is compatible with both bikes. Is this do-able? I've had a look online, but find the part numbers confusing..... Cheers, C. |

Some TLs have a hydraulic clutch- if it's one of those, then no. But if it's a cable one, I suspect there's no lever that'll fit both- but it'd be a fairly simple matter to swap one of the lever mountings to facilitate this. Frinstance, I've got a GSXR K2 clutch lever and mount on mine now (had to replace the mount, and GSXR ones are more common)
Alternatively, tape your spare levers inside a fairing panel, you'll never know they're there. Unless they fall off and kill you.
