So after my off i have decided to get new lowers and the front fairing is to be sprayed by a company who do all the work for Mercedes as well as for Norwich Union. Getting it done through my bro's girlfriend who works there. Am wondering though after doing a search and reading up how the K5 candy blue needs to be applied in layers to get a good match. The company has a real good rep but just how easy is it for a professional to get the match right i am wondering. Any thoughts or advice about the paint i need to get? I think i read i need a silver base coat and the whole panel will need a spray as it will be very hard otherwise
Wanted to order paint today (but am at work without bike) so was wondering if anyone knows the code for the K5 blue? Thanks for any help ![]() |

Hi TC
Sorry to hear of your off, all K5 body work is pre sprayed silver correct. This was confirmed to me by Suzuki customer service. |
