Default sporttec m1

hi had some metzler roadtec z6's and changed them for sporttec m1's

have done 900mls on them and the rears in need of a change already.
realy impresed with the grip though.

might try a rear sporttec m3 or get another z6 ???
would it upset the bike if i change the rear and leave the m1 on the front??
does anyone know if the new sporttec m3's a harder compund or if its duel compound???

cheers
Joe

900 miles! That's some going I think I got just shy of 3000 from my last rear.

I'm running witha Sportec front and Roadtec rear just now, it's not strictly recommended but the profiles are comparable so I, personally, am totally happy with it. Then again, I mix and match all the time. There's some blurb about the tread on the Roadtec front clearing a dry route for the slick part of the roadtec rear, but I've never ridden in the wet with this combo.

Don't know anything about the M3, but I've heard rumours that they're both stickier and longer lasting.
