Default Tax Disk

Right just got the bike Taxed for a year again and was thinking...

Should I scan my new tax disk and put the printout in the bike and keep the Original in my wallet? , as I've herd that some naughty people try to steal them.
Or should I put the Original one on the bike and hope for the best?

What are Your Thoughts?

Mr Plod would have to have very good eyesight to notice any difference - I've actually scanned mine, and have the original fitted, but obviously can make a copy v quickly if some scrote nicks it, as they did a few years back - it was only 3 days old & they just unscrewed the holder

Default Tax Disk;

Scanned mine, wrote COPY on it and keep original in wallet. Laminated them both.
I would think Traffic Wardens would be more of a problem than the Police.

We never display our tax disc on the bike. We keep it under the seat.

Never had a problem about it not being displayed, and after all..................with their new system they brag that they know if you're NOT taxed, so equally it must be just as simple to know if you are!

Bugger - mine either fell off the bike or more likely got flogged today in the city when parked up. Is it much of a hassel to get another??
