Default Grinch AR06's photos and that nail.

As some of you know iffy was kind enough to offer to direct me up to the AR, as I have the navigational skill of a potato.
That morning I was doing my oil change ready for the long trip, so I would have a nice fresh bike. Upon puting it on the paddock stand Jax said 'Whats that in your tyre?' and there it was...

A huge nail... but the tyre was still up... some how it had gone in to the rubber but glanced off the internal tyre wire (as I was told later by the tyre fitter). Looks as though I'd been riddin with it for a while as the end of the nail was rather worn.

So rushed the oil change and shot down to the local tyre fitters (as mentioned by me in the tyres thread), called Scoobs as I didn't have iffys number and he updated him to my problems... Cheers mate.

2 new tyres got put on... Mez M1's £160 for the set.

Iffy was nice enough to wait for me and we did set of 3 hours later, and Jax did us a little lunch before we left. Even PJ sat on his lap and fed him rasins...

So we made it to the services on the M5.

And then got to the site... tents up in record time.

Had a few beers in the pub...

Which by then I needed...

lol I thought from the title you had only taken one photo !!...

I am enjoying seeing everyones journeys up and the motorway services etc...

thats one thing I missed.. the ride to the rideout-
being so close it seemed less of an adventure somehow..

mind you- was nice on sunday knowing I only had 40 mins to get home.
