Scuse my dunceness....
"easy engines to swap..did it with daves old SV that he blew up..you will need a special tool to unbolt the engine from the frame but we made one up from and old socket with a hacksaw like Rob said" Anyone got any gen on this above quote from another site? ![]() |

It is recommended to undo and re tighten the thrust washers when removing and replacing an engine but its no essential, well i didn't if that's anything to go by

Isn't he refering to a castle nut? I have seen the sockets to undo them listed on Demon Tweeks for £35
![]() To be honest, if you haven't already got one, get a Haynes. Then you can read through the whole thing first without having to touch a bolt. I'm sure I read a bit that mentions cutting a socket. |

Yep, he's refering the castle nut, or in the suzuki manual "Thrust Socket Adaptor" or something similar.
I made a set for K4, they might fit your K2. However Coombest has them at the moment, but you can borrow them when he's finished, if you want. Dan |
