Default cam chain tensioners

Errr

Where abouts on the bike is it?

Just so when I go to look at a bike on monday I dont look like a complete amateur.

They're in the top of the engine, with the cams.

To be honest you don't really need to know where they are, just listen for excess engine noise. Not usually a problem on a curvy, I think, unless it's got lots of miles or hardly any! Best take a mate with you who maybe knows summit about bikes. Good hunting and hope to see you on here soon with a bike.

everybody makes too big a deal about cam chains & tensioners

their noisey in an SV, learn to live with it, it will gradually get louder, then one day it will be gone , then it will gradually come back again, front & rear not always exactly at the same time, so there will almost always be noise

mine have never been touched in 133k
