Yeah was pretty magical - one of those things you do and you know its just not worth trying to do again because it will never be as good as you remember it.
How many of you have ever had one of those moments??????

Mine was when i was about 14 and was sitting on Camber Sands beach with a load of mates getting tipsy on 20/20 (kiwi and strawberry ). It was about 2 in the morning and the sky was eerily clear and then all these shooting stars appeared and we just lay there, staring at the sky in awe. Amazing. I don't think anyone actually drew breath for a good 30 seconds then we all just sat there in silence for ages, feeling quite insignificant....and drunk

Funny how smells can bring back memories like that too.

Probably my first solo skydive.

It was really hot and crowded in the plane (it was in Arizona) and just feeling a wonderful blast of cold clean air as you dive head first out of the door at 13000 ft.

THen just watching the plane disapear above me and the feeling of flying alone in the beautiful clear blue sky, gently doing 360 turns in freefall and admiring the beautiful desert below.

8am Sunday mornings in autumn, riding round Queen Elizabeth country park and the South Downs Way on my mountain bike with a mate. No-one else around, early morning sunshine filtering through the trees and dew on the grass and leaves of the trees. Occasional deer and badger crossing your path. Not having to say anything, just riding, clearing your thoughts. Then the chat afterwards in the pub about the trail we had just ridden and the moments etc.

Galloping madly across a field early one morning not really in control of the horse and loving it.

Standing at the edge of a field near where I used to live that overlooked, well, nothing really! It just went on and on. It was in the middle of a huge thunderstorm. I stood there getting soaked to the skin, but barely noticed as I was mesmerised by the fork lightning hitting what looked like the ground out in the distance. Awesome.

Halfway down my first really big waterfall in a kayak. Got over the OMG moment on the lip and just have time to think whee! / look at view, before shaping up for landing.

surfacing and laughing like a drain was also pretty special :P
