Why doesnt this suprise me, or any of us i guess.

I was dealing with a client a couple of years ago, he was a Jewish New Yorker who was openly disgusted at the way his country and Israel defied international laws and decided what laws their own countries would follow and adhere to. He is also a famous classical musican who travels the world playing solo concerts and with full orchestras.
Anyway the point here was that he was routinely stopped by security officials at EVERY single airport he went thru and eacch time they would tell him it was a "random security search" of him and his stuff. Finaly in one airport he had enough and raised his voice about his victimisation..... and was swiftly taken away at gunpoint One of the black suited and sunglassed individuals told him that he must have "upset someone somwhere in Washington" as his name had a "permanent stop and search flag" by it and he could expect to get this treatment every time he flew anywhere in the world.
He asked what he could do about it and was angrily told "Not keep ****ing people off in high places" before being shoved out the door.

Maybe the sensible people in that country will stand up and do something about this...maybe more people will be persecuted like this guy for it tho. Anyway only a matter of time before we all get ID cards and then this country's govt can do the same to us.

If you can't get into the U.S. just fly to Mexico and leg it across the border.

I should've mentioned that to my sister. Her and her other half are stuck out in Florida until they've sold their business. Due to some sort of visa issues, if they leave they won't be allowed back in so she missed our grandad's funeral last week.

Wish I'd thought of Mexico...

I understand the trek across the Canadian border is a bit a bit of a brass monkey affair compared to the Mexican route.

But on the other hand, there's less armed vigilantes.

I'd take the Canuks over those boys any day.

A lad I know... ie not a friend, sort of an associate, who is one of the most meat headed, reactionary, vicious, gun wielding, blatantly black hating, jew hating, Hispanic hating, Arab hating, kicked out of the military for some reason, Bush loving, pro torture guy I know, went down there to work with one of these Federally sponsored border patrol groups.

He left after about 1 and a half months, cause he just couldn't deal with what they were doing to the people they were picking up over the border.

What they are meant to do is just detain and deport. What the Mexicans do is just turn around, and try again. So, these boys take it upon themselves to teach them a lesson. I was asking him why, and he just couldn't go into details. Couldnt. Not wouldn't. When pressed he mention that some of the lads will routinely gang rape who they pick up, horrifically kill and bury one of them, and send the rest back to warn others. "But he didnt want to go into it".

For this guy to be shocked so badly put things in perspective about whats going on down there.

These people do not exist. You can do whatever you like to them.

Oh yeah, re this Fly List thing... its still very much in draft. The boys and girls who want to see this put in place have just had a large amount of carpet pulled out from beneath them.

Or maybe... I am being hopeful. We will see.
