I've got my pointy sv. I've got my lower fairing, and I'm looking at it and it just feels like something is missing (and no, the curves aren't meant to be on it before any of u folk say that they are missing!)
So Ive been looking at decals for the bike, but I cant make up my mind if they look tacky, or if they improve the look. I'm not talking about sponsors etc, I'm talking about suzuki printed on the lowers somewhere, and/or some sort of basic design, just to give it a bit of colour without too much work. what your views on this, I like Blue Flame's bike with the little suzuki racing on the side, but I dont like to copy, any imaginative ideas? |

Know what you mean mate. They just need SOMETHING to break up that expanse of plastic. I had "SUZUKI" ,made up in "Brushed aluminium" to get close to the rest of the bike an think it looks good.
if you want the details, let me know. They weren't a lot of dough. Cheers, Garry ![]() |

Got a bellypan but I had a Suzuki decal put on and lacquered over when my old white ones started to peel.

On yer bike,
I've recently fitted lowers at a cost of £300 and I know exactly how you feel. I just don't know which way to go. I mean you dont want to turn your luvverly new lowers into a tarts handbag do you? I've been on loads of sites (www.decals4less) is a good one. I've ordered, cancelled , ordered and cancelled again - dunno what to do. A nice blue "Suzuki" on a yellow lower does look nice - but so does a lower plastered in sponsors decals- AS LONG AS IT'S DONE TATEFULLY ! ![]() |

Yeah thats exactly what its like, Ive ordered some off fleabay, then changed my mind about the colour and size, but cant cancel them, so will prob stick them on my mums suzuki (car, see if she notices lol), and keep looking, I started off wanting something original, but i just cant see what looks good til it's on the bike. Then its too late to cancel lol.
The search will continue.. |
