Default I hate this time of year...

So it's cold and dark, the nights are drawing in and all that.
The flash and bang of fireworks, by the local chavs.

So why celebrate the death of Mr Fawkes by burning down my fence, gate and garden shed... Again?

The fire brigade turned up by the time I'd put the blaze out myself. The shed had bits of a RGV250 that I was going to use to pimp my SV, my stock SV exhaust. Spades, brooms and stuff.

Police came but nothing they can do...

F*ckers...

To stop fireworks in my letterbox I left a bucket of water in the hall. Do you think I'm paranoid?

i phoned the police at 1am one morning last year when the local wildlife were setting off fireworks
and was suprised to be told...."THATS A PRIORITY CALL..WE'LL GET SOMEONE THERE STRAIGHT AWAY"
just goes to show that if they can get money (£80 instant fine) from situations like this theyre interested
if your being burgled......forget it

The fire brigade were prett quick, they called the coppers first after seeing the accelerant evidence. Took the cops 4 hours to come over, by which time I had to use the wood left from the damage to make a temporary fence.

I'm off to the dump now with all the burnt stuff. THe USD forks are completely knackered, the fairing and plastics on the shelf above melted onto them and the seal are completely burnt away. I even had my spare pillion seat in there, with my spare black box and rectifier, all knackered.

They robbed a friends shed last night too.
Seems they may have thought that she kept extra booze or presents in there. Didn't seem to take anything just unpacked the whole shed and left it all out in the garden, like they were looking for something.

Dude.
Move.

Seriously. My gf's sister left the keys to her brand new beamer out on the steps the other night, said beamer was 5 meters away. I left the keys in the ignition in the bike. And my 1 grand bicycle out front over night, unlocked.

All untouched.
We dont even live in a rich area, we live beside one of the poorest parts of the US.

I've left my car unlocked before, by accident. No problems.
It's just this time of year all the scallies are working for their Xmas bonus, which means stealing your/our stuff.
