First IAM ride

Having eventually signed up for the IAM today was my first observed ride, the observer i am with lives just around the corner from me which is going to be handy. we met at sainsbury's and Ed joined us to keep an eye on me. My observer asked if i would mind if a trainee observer tagged along as well, so no pressure then! 1 senior observer and 1 observer following, and Ed as well. from Wylies we went towards shrewsbury and then along the Buildwas road and then to Much Wenlock, to Bridgenorth and then to Quattford, nice twisty but fast roads. I think i aquitted myself reasonably well considering my Knees could be heard knocking together for miles away. Marshall was at Quattford, his 955 is a beauty and the exhaust sounds awesome compared to my nice quiet cat. had a great time and can't wait for the next time, thanks Ed for tagging along and leading me back to shrewsbury afterwards.

Yep twas a nice ride. Can't help but think that the observer's remarks were a tad fierce at times, like on use of mirrors and lifesavers, from a position admittedly some way behind you I thought you acquitted yourself well
