Hello,
I was thinking of taking my exhaust system off, and then putting it back on again, just for the sake of it, and becasue it shows me how in the haynes manual my wife just bought me. Anyway, the haynes manual says i have to remove and discard the gaskets in the joints, and fit new ones when i put it back together. So does anyone have any idea where i would buy such items from and how much they are likely to cost. I would feel alot better if i could have the new ones waiting before i take the system off. Most bike garages will stock them, i cant remember the size of them though.
Carefull as you may strip the front exhaust studs.

I reused mine loads of times, the only reason i got new ones was for my polished heads waiting to go in
Saying that, Mr.Haynes says use new ones at there not expensive so i would ![]() |

I have no idea how many times I've reused mine... Dozen or so, anyway. Getting the back one out is an unspeakable ******* of a job, as I learned the one time I chose to actually swap them.
