Default New one in town

Just thought I would leave a post to say high to every one,
I joined the forums as i have been reading for a while and you seem nice to eachother.

Any way a bit about me

I live in leeds
Work in weatherby

Passed my Full licance back in feb and have been riding a 2000 sv650 as my fist big bike and i love it even though i have managed to drop it doing 10mph round a bend and trash the right hand fairing.

do alot of comuting during the week, and i try to get out for one big ride every weekend out past rippon so if any one out there rides let me know and maybe we can meet up.

Well now i better get back to work B4 the boss catches me

Welcome to the mad house!

Don't feel bad about dropping the bike, it happens.

I dropped mine into a bush at around 1mph before I'd even got my licence. After getting my licence, I dropped it at about 20mph going into a corner. Last week, I dropped it at about 40mph going into a corner.

Thinking about it, I was going around a corner pushing it when I dropped it into a bush.

I think I see a common element and it's getting worse

My 10mph drop left my fairing pretty much ok, but did my collarbone no favours.

Would have rather had a cracked fairing I think - was 7 weeks off the bike !!!

Welcome to the Madhouse
