Default Blue_ back out on his Kart :)

Took my Kart out yesterday to a place called 'Forest Edge' - near Andover.

I have youtube'd some onboard footage from the day ... I apologies for me trying to 'jaz up' my clip with the video editing ... I was trying to build some sort of introduction ... my bad?!?!

Enjoy

That's just plain silly ... ... there's always one!!! . .. some nice rear-end steering there ... a Gixer engine in a kart seems a little OTT really!! ... that said, at a fullsize track like that, a kart like mine would just be flat out all the time ... where's the fun in that!?! and it'd just go POP! ...

I know it doesn't look like it in the vid, but my kart is actually geared for 82mph at that track* ... and if you listen to the revvs, I am flat out in parts and it would pull taller gearing .... so mibie capable of 90mph with the correct gearing? (believe me 80 is fast enough when ya bum is scraping on the ground and you only have a boiler-suit on!! ).

Anyway, 80mph is fine for a kart track, but would seem painfully slow on a fullsize like that!! So you would NEED a GIXER thou engine ... ... well OK not NEEED!!! ....

*again it doens't look like it, but that GIXER must have been deep in the 3 figures at times!!

Looks very nasty when they flip, how much do they weigh? Do you wear any armour under the boiler suit?

I don't honestly know, but prolly ~40-50kg? Its gonna smart if it lands on you at speed ...

And no I don't, just a t-shirt which I thought would be ok as it has 4 wheels .... but I am thinking about it now ...
