Default Sv K3 Fi Engine

Hi folks I have the chance of a low mileage fuel injected sv650s engine.
Does this engine which came out of a pointy fit the curvy.

No, well, not without loads of work. And no benefit K3s have (apparently) weaker rods and a rare case-cracking issue, and no removable clutch cover. You get the oilcooler, which you don't need, and the hotter cams and different camchain tensioners, which you can swap anyway. More recent FI motors get a better gear selector mechanism, which is also transferrable.

Thanks for the response mate.
I was just thinking that if Ive bu99ered my engine I would rather just drop a new lump in it than try to get it fixed.

PS I dont suppose there is any members in rochester or medway who could have a look at my cam chain tensioners and valve clearances on the cheap.

AYe, quite often... Depends how you'ev broken it though If it's top end, well, luckily most people destroy the bottom end on the SV so intact topends are quite common
