I use AA because they provide cover for all my motor vehicles. But I
have never tested them with regards to my bike.

Suzuki are giving me 12 months free AA cover so I suppose I'll be using that, at least until it expires.

Be warned AA don't recover if the vehicle has been in an accident.

I ve just signed up with nci. Have read some good reports about them and they specifically cover bikes very well apparently. £39 for comprehensive cover which means recovery from anywhere to nearest bike garage or home.

hopefully I wont find out how good they realy are or not as the case may be.

Thumbs down Re: Breakdown cover - which?

I've been a member of the RAC for years and always had good service; however they will refuse cover if you use them to much in a year. So if you have a machine that is unreliable they are probably not the best bet for that reason.

Some insurance companies now include "free" breakdown cover. I was with Groupama through The Policy Shop and had to use their recovery service once in the depth of winter. No hassle at all. They just phone out the nearest independent bike-capable truck.

Summit to consider when re-newing?

It this a new thing??

My brother had to join the AA at the side of the road to have his bike recovered after some @rse knocked him off down the A1, the police called them for him.

EDIT: I am in the AA by the way, but never used them for the bike.

Nope but if your insured with Carol Nash it doesn't matter.
