Buy it from a registered UK dealer and stop trying to be a cheapskate

Look for the ECER 22-05 markings on the back of the lid or on a label sewn to the chinstrap. Also, all UK spec Arais come with a Gold ACU sticker on the back.

As far as I know all Arai's are built to the same classification with respect to
racing helmets They may have different stamp/kite marks or labels but that is to conform to the country they are being sold in------------so if it is the real McCoy go for it,just make sure it has the gold label or proper accreditation if you want to use it for British Tracks

My Arai has ECE22-05 on the back and an ACU gold sticker on it.

On the chin strap is a label sewn in that has some more blurb on it and the date the helmet was manufactured.
