Default You're my wife now, Dave!!!!!!

So the looney blonde sat pillion on the Raptor from halifax to Norwich-ish. Why?
Cause now shes stepped over to the dark side and bought DanSv's 2000 black curvey. I got a lot of asse ache but it was worth the trip. What a greedy girl now I got two, suzy can have a rest for a while and be reborn, and the new one is just one big grin- amazing they're so different. Very pleased Dan, shame we didn't meet, your dad is the most charming guy I've met in ages- a real gent, and understands an odd sense of humour...
I'm still in the Yellow curvey club Suzy is staying with me...Black ones do seem to go faster though...
Can you tell I'm pleased......

Anyone want to buy any pegs????

Sorry Chairman of the Elite club. suzy is my first love, so you don't have to worry> Shes still top dog, shes got a bigger bark. Took the baffles straight out of the black one, but its not quite as loud as suzy. Its got a lot more oomph on the motorway though.

Suzy feels gutless, which is why shes having so much work done. Dan really has looked after this one, puts me to shame. However the double bubble screen makes life so much better too. Everthing is set up for a six foot guy so we'll have to tinker around for a day, also shorter dog bones will be coming off_ so anyone with a standard set-shout please. They make the bike lean over far too much for little me on its sidestand, quite alarming when you put it on it cause you think its going to fall over!!!!
OOOO its sooo shiny!!!

Glad you are pleased with my old baby! She's all grown up and fled the roost now!

Us Norwich folk are rummuns - strange people have stranger senses of humour .

It seems we now have conclusive proof, even from a biased (to custard creams) owner that Black ones are indeed quicker. As we know, bark doesn't neccesarily mean bite .

Gearing is actually up from standard, as I was finding the 15/47 tiresome on journeys up and down to uni. It's now actually 16/44 as I had a new sprocket spare for the GSX-R which I never fitted. I found it makes the bike much more comfy for cruising, and gives you better petrol economy.

I was worried it was going to make the bike less perky, and was going to change it back to standard gearing when I got the chance. In the end I never saw the need to. My old SV allways did feel "fit" compared to others I had ridden, so maybe it's just spethial!

I'm giving you a month on a nice Black SV, before you decide BLACK is the way forward! Yellow is a colour for things like tractors, boy-racer mobiles, and err custard!

Glad you like it though.

Dan.
