Yes. Got rid of an old trunk which had been in my garage within an hour on Saturday. The groups I've subscribed to generate a large volume of traffic. Most gets deleted without reading. Cat litter, baby clothes, old monitors, bricks, all sorts of crap.

no, save dumping stuff, advertise it on freecycle for free and someone will come and collect it from you.

Yeah I've been on freecycle a year or so now. Several groups. Picked some stuff up. Realised I was starting to collect random tat and so backed off a bit. My freecycle subscriptions put me as #1 receiver of email by volume in my company. Good think I'm the one that generates the stats

Had a friend who had an old computer monitor (15") that he couldn't get rid of, not even on freecycle.

So he stuck it out on the pavement to take to the tip later that day.

15 minutes later its gone.

And thus, Chavcycle was born.......

Nah, that's when they take the stuff from outside your house that wasn't going to be taken to the tip.... (see 'my lovely flowerpots')

Yep I know someone who put a cooker out on the pavement to be collected by the council... dissapeared before they got round to organising it.
