Default Baffled

I have a shiny new remus powercone on my z750, unfortunatley i cant get the baffle out. I have got the circlip off that I think is meant to keep the baffle in but it wont budge, are you meant to cut another weld or something. Ridden 60 miles with no circlip and it hasnt fallen out.

The circlip had been spot welded into place which seemed uneccasary as well, took a dremmel to get rid of the weld.

Is there a spot weld holding the baffle in, if so you'll need to drill that out to. Thats how the baffle was held in on the Remus on Liz's bike. It was a bugger to budge the baffle even when we had drilled out the spot weld, we had to grip the baffle with a pair of pliers and then wiggle the baffle to get it out.

I've heard of other people shoving a broom handle up the exhaust in order to dislodge the baffle. I think sometmies the baffles are held in with silicone to.

There is something that could be a weld , the broom handel method is nxt on the list. The scoripon can on the sv had a silcone seal but that had nowhere near the resitance of this thing.

Cheers
