ok so the roads are warm so are my tyres, been out today on a 50mile run on some cracking islands and big right and left sweepers, thing my tyres are all worn all the way to the edge and people i ride with tell me my sv1000s is over all the way (maybe too far over?) anyway one particular right hander was superb about 60mph hanging off the sv, i dont quite know how to describe this but it just felt right? stable, knee was out but still no scrape?
![]() i was looking at the road ahead from underneath my right hand mirror? is that right? any tips to get me to just drop it on the deck? |

I guess if you still have the bolts screwed into the bottom of your pegs that would be a good indicator as to how much further you can go.
Hope you didnt go out after watching the GP today as that would be a sure way to bending it. |

just my opinion this...
but it sounds liked you are cranked right over, what does it matter that your knee doesn't touch down? worry too much about what your knee is doing and you may forget to do the basics and end up doing something silly |

I wander if you're doing wrong what I've been doing wrong.
Are you pointing your knee out or are you pointing it at the ground ? You sound like your doing everything right though, but I can't do it, so I'm not the best person to ask really.

And as Weasel (or however he spells it) says, go faster.
Or do a track day. |

1) get longer legs. Could be a painfull and expensive option.
2) use longer kneesliders ![]() ![]() Matt |
