Ow do n Welcome, nice looking steed you have there boy!
As for the exhaust i'd vote CCC as i used to have one on mine, fruity as you like, especially with the baffle removed. ![]() For the wrist issues give fizzwheel a PM he done something to the brake/clutch levers to compensate, i would do a search but its far too early and im in need of coffee ![]() |

Hi All,
I thought I'd say hi and share a picture of my new love. Went out last night with a few mates which included an R6, MT-03 and Yamaha Dragstar 1100cc. The last of which got the most looks, largely down to the noise and backfiring - superb! ![]() I've not long entered into the world of biking and only passed my DAS last month. I'm taking it easy and learning how to go round corners which as you can imagine was a great source of fun for the R6 rider!! Love the bike though and already feel very comfortable with it. The V-twin sound is cool specially when slowing down. But want to put a new can on without putting people off if i sell it. Nothing too mad just something to get the best out of the potential sound. I've heard that some can affect the fuel flow and require engine adjustments which sounds all very scary - any advice would be appreciated. Sorry about the outfit and i'm sure once i get a tinted visor i'll look a lot better ![]() |

Looks sharp. Hope you are coming to terms with the wristy issues.
Don't think an aftermarket can will require too much adjustments. The Suzuki people are always helpful if you talk to the garage doing your servicing. Passed MOT with my can this year "If it had been last year we'd have failed you" something about "NOT FOR ROAD USE" being stamped on some cans now, rather than a noise measiurement? |

Yeah thanks - first service is due in a few weeks so will ask the dealer and see what they suggest.
When you say "wristy" issues are you referring to the pain I felt in my wrist after a long ride (in which case spooky – is that common problem?) or is that a euphemism for having a bike as a new love (in which case spooky – is that common problem too?) ![]() |

Looks great!
Sorry can't really help with regards to the can (i'm in the same boat myself) but if you have a search, or look in the exhausts section it has been covered lots! ![]() |

I don't think a new can would put any future buyers off. When I got mine it had a slip on fitted with the original can in a box, it's still in its box

![]() Have looked at the Exhaust section and now more confused than ever:- CCC Fuel M4 etc. Heard the UTube videos and the M4 sounds great! Real low thump which i'm keen to have. Budget could stretch to £200 but was hoping for help with fitting. Is that realistic? Does a slip on can still require cutting the original pipe? Thanks again for your advice |

Yep to cutting, but it's not as scary as you think and it certainly isn't a technical job.
Fuel, CCC and Scorpion all do cans that start well within that budget. Personal choice really, spend some time on their sites (email CCC as their site appears down at mo). |

Nice bike mate..
Whereabouts are you? I'm sure if there is someone close then they may give you a hand with the exhaust fitting. I did mine myself and it was dead easy, sawing is the worst bit but once thats done it a 10 min job. Enjoy the bike! Nick |
