Default Freeview

Ok, recent house move means I have had to give up telewest. I wasn't to bothered because I thought i'd just get a freeview box until.... I just found out they don't have Eurosport listed as an available channel. I can't sign up for anything 12 month contract like - is there anyway other way to get it??

Thanks
Luke

you can top up free view for a few pounds a month, see if eurosport is on that option. if not the sky basic pack will have eurosport on it.

I have a freeview HD recorder (poor man's Sky Plus). It works really well, didn't cost much and ensures I have more good quality stuff taped (films from film 4 mainly) than I have time to watch. The only thing I really miss from proper cable (which I used to have) is bike racing, particularly the TT coverage. I get my gf's parents to record that for me though and I watch it up their house.

Why cant you sign up to anything on a 12 month contract mate?

only logical reason i can think of is that you plan to move again before 12mnths and dont see the sense in paying for something you wont use.

Of course i could be wrong and there is another reason, if so let us know.

Reason i say the above? Homechoice (now part of Tiscali) use a BT landline to provide you with broadband and TV packages. Homechoice told me that if i move i can continue the same subscription on the new landline number as long as they serve the area i move to.

And their packages are cheaper than Sky too and much more flexible imho. Have look www.homechoice.co.uk

Thanks for the replies!

Yep, moving within the next 3-4 months to a different country! It's a real pain actually - can't sign up for anything! I don't even want to get a BT landline as it's such a short period of time.

Guess I'm back to no WSB, or 125/250cc motoGP again

You can get WSBK online, which is what I do, as I'm in a similar boat at the moment;
