Got myself a pair of motrax stands last week as they were going for £40 a pair (instead of £80).
Now I only really need the front as I have another stand that lifts the bike from the main bolt (center of gravity place). I put the bike on the stand when I don't use it for long periods of time. Should I now use the motrax stands or are they not good for this? Cheers |

Your "other" stand is probably better for leaving the bike of for any length of time. Paddock stands don't take the weight off the suspension, whereas your other one (NWS or ABBA or similar I'm guessing) unloads the rear suspension. You can then put a block under the engine to unload the front suspension as well.

I have a couple.
I have a RME, micron(purple universal), and a unknown branded hook type one for the rear and 2 micron fronts one with the two bar bits on either side and one that has flat platforms that sit under the fork bottoms. |
