Default high pipe and tail tidy, potential probs???

Hi guys nice to meet you glad that I stumbled upon this site, loads of handy info

I have a K4 sv650s and want to get rid of the original pipe and also get a tail tidy unit.
From the bit of research that I've done I really want a high level pipe. I have a few questions though, and any help would be brilliant.

1. Is it possible to buy any slip on can and convert it to high level with a link pipe? Where can you buy high level link pipes separately if this is possible, preferably ones that include spacers so that the pillion footpegs can be retained?

2. Will the silencer get in the way of the indicators if I go for a tail tidy along with the high level pipe?

3. I've seen a full micron race system for sale, will this be ridiculously loud for street use. I try and avoid towns but when I do I never cane the bike so the main possible prob is if it's crazy noisy even when your not revvin the tits out of it!!!

cheers guys for any help
happy biking
Ian

1:
You can by any exhaust can as long as it has a 50mm? bore size, link pipes can generally be found on ebay
2:
No the silencer wont foul indicators if fitted correctly ( even if you have an aftermarket tail tidy)
3:
Micron systems aren't that loud,( i,ve got a full system on mine and it sounds sweet) and if it is peace and quite your looking for then look for a exhaust can with a removable baffle, and remember if you do get a can than you may have to get fueling sorted or the bike could run lean or rich and will eventually f$%* things up.

Just for clarity, if you fit a slipon race can generally the dynamic nature of th FI will be enough so you won't need to get it re-mapped and it'll be fine, however should you fit a full system you'll need to change you air filter and re-map to get the best out of it.

Cheers Mark.

Oh and welcome, stick you location in you profile (userCP above left) so others know where you are.
