Had a disturbing dream last night.
I was on my bike going through some village or other, insignificant really, but the road surface was covered in loose wet sand.
At some point a scooter went past me with its rear wheel spinning and sliding about. It tried to go round a corner but with the sand both scooter and rider washed out and went under the rear wheels of an oncoming articulated lorry. Riders head hit the back wheels and his body was spun around. Remarkably the rider got up - it is a dream after all - but was having some sort of seizure whist standing up and screaming he couldn’t get his helmet off his visor was down and it was all blacked out. Whilst all this was going on I was trying to get off of my own bike to help but everything was in slow motion – like when you are trying to run in a dream but it feels like you are running through treacle – I just could get off of my bike. At which point I woke up. What was all that about?  And no I didn’t eat cheese before going to bed.

It emasn your worried about seeing a chav on a scooter crashing, and you'd wish they would ride with a bit more care, would ride with some decent kit, and would ride with their helmets done up
