where would you go to order some warm tops and leggings to go under gear? and maybe a neck warmer too. is there any specific sites anyone would recommend?

apart from the fact you seem to have the energy and bouncyness (is that a word?) of a playground full of kids.
you could try here or perhaps here to for motor bike stuff, or somewhere like here or here for a more affordable ex military option. neck tubes are normally on of three options, fleece/buff type material, small, light,cheaper and good for around town and screwing up to put in your pocket, or double ply windstopper type, generally more bulky a bit warmer and a little more problematic to put on, and finally the neoprene type, these are very good at keeping the cold out but can be a bit restrictive.
