Hi All
With your help I've sorted out charging problems and the bike is running pretty nicely however..... During a ride out yesterday I swapped bikes with a friend whilst on a private off road area, he took the bike to 100 (I'm not quite ready for that yet, and don't have his 25 years of riding experience) and apparently between 100-110 the front wheel wobbled quite a lot. Also after a long run the bike doesn't like to start immediately, it revs up then dies immediately - does the same again, and then with a bit of throttle (keeping it at 6000 revs for about 15-20 seconds) and it seems to be ok - is this a carb issue? Any help and suggestions would be gladly received. Thanks Andy |

For the wobble i'd probably start by checking your tyre pressures are correct, then make sure that the suspension settings are somewhere near standard to rule out them being miles out, then if they check out maybe getting the wheels balanced to rule that out. And while the wheels are off if they are being balanced check the wheel bearings are OK. Then i'm out of suggestions. And i've no clue about the fast idle, sorry.
Mine used to weave a bit from 90 - 100 but i've since set my tyre pressures correctly and the static sag on the suspension and it doesn't weave anymore. |

Thanks very much - I'm think you could be right about the tyre pressures - I haven't checked in a while and don't think that they were right when the tyres were changed recently - anyone know the right pressures for BT020's ?
ALso will look at the fuel pipe - hopefully it's that simple Cheers |

Start with 33psi front, 36psi rear. The Tyres section on the forum has tons of advice for meddling past that

Brilliant. Will give it a go at the weekend, and I'm sure it will be fine.
