Who wants to take me out....
for a pillion ride...
Seriously. I got the bike out the garage, all my gear on, and thought, the steering felt really heavy when I turned the bike on the drive there, hold on. Check the front tyre and it's flatter than a flat thing. Add to this the fact that I know the carbs need balanced, and the chain needs a bit of attention and that she's being "reluctant to start" and has no petrol I'm on the verge of stomping my feet and crying.  So I have heaved her back into the garage flat tyre and all - no mean feat for wimpy little me - the garage is up a hill! So - who would like to take me out for a little jolly so that I can remember why I love my bike so much in the first place!? |

If I was closer would have gladly offered (that plus got called into work today), am sure someone will take you up on the offer. Hope the bike gets fully sorted soon.

aww thanks.
I had it in my head that despite the chain, carbs and petrol issues I was taking her out to the petrol station, and for a pootle about the town, just to get back out there, and get over the "OMG I cant do this" feeling. *sigh* I even have a babysitter!

I love my bike, and i will get her fixed, just a matter of finding spare cash at the moment! I love riding the bike, but I'm also a huge fan riding pillion, all the fun not half as much responsibility! lol
Plus it helps me to see, feel and understand how others ride their bikes. Never stop learning and all that. |
