Doh!! ... you should have done a trackday first, then used it for the tour ... that way you would have maximum benefit from the tyre!! ![]() |

Yeah, screwed the tyre strategy up a little, got some more in the garage so no worries, fitting a new one for Croft (will do 50-100 miles road scrub in first). Then will remove it and fit another new one for my Nurburgring trip, luckily it's only 300 ish miles from home in Yorkshire to the Ring, bash the Ring, get home then hopefully eek a track day out of it 3 days later, before fitting the part worn from the first croft experience. May be some slightly less silly rubber would have been a better bet in logistical terms, but I'm having fun and that's all that matters.

Hey Tim - ditto ditto ditto. After having round 600 miles on the Rennsports I went to the NW200 a few weeks ago. Rode from Leeds up to Stranragh to get the ferry to Belfast - Couldn't believe it, the rear looked like it had squared off after 270 (870 total) miles. Oddly the curvy roads of norther ireland seemed to 'unsquare'them
![]() Agree they are quality though and a lot of fun. You been out and had them sliding in the wet then yet?....Easy on the throttle there tiger.... |

Ryan, I agree that it squares off quick on straight runs, did about 100 miles on dual carriageways, and another upright run to York down the A19. Haven't used them in the wet yet, being a fair weather fairy and all!
The Stradas are great, I used to use them and have done plenty of trackdays on them, they bobbled/snotted up nicely on their edges ![]() ![]() |

Cheers Tim, thanks for the info on the Stradas. I think it's help make my mind up.

These are now £110 a pair in SV sizesat Busters, a bargain if you're looking for some sticky tyres for a TD on the SV, I love them now.
http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk...?catRef=901728 So far on my latest pair a trip to the 'Ring, 30 laps (387 miles on track), a track day at Croft and a track day at Cadwell, and still a fair bit left in the centre for a few more weekend blasts.
