try again... that's is the side stand cut out switch.
there is a spring connected to your brake pedal follow this up till you reach the switch then follow the wiring till you come to the connector. |

As bib said, if you can't find the connector, trace the brake switch back up the cable. You don't want to blow something trying to save time!! Good luck!! Haha

Those wires disappear into the loom. I (really) hope the alarm installer didnt cut up that part of the loom.

no the alarm fitter would not have spliced the brake switch into the loom .... keep looking. there WILL be a connector between the main loom and the switch.

![]() Heres a better pic although im lost figuring out what it does in the alternator. The bottom connector has 3 black cables which matched up with the haynes wiring diagram but i dont know wtf the green & white does. ![]() There is absolutely no connector from the rear brake switch ![]() From this end it goes underthe fuel tank & straight into the loom where it must be spliced with the front brake switch. Im wondering if the plug i was going to use will still have a ignition only active live that will do the same job. or could i cut off the connector & jam in the cable along with the rear brake fuse in the fuse box which would do the same job?
