UPDATE: it seems my k3's alternator / rotor has a pulse generator coil. This is missing from the book of lies wiring diagram for that version.
I take it using that connector wouldnt be a good idea! Plus here's my version of the rear brake switch, once again the book of lies wrongly predicts it's behind the heel plate for the k3 pointy. ![]() And the connector fits on top straight from the loom, it's looking like i have to pick up a ignition + from somewhere else. ![]()

I'm just writing mine up to my k3 and it's the same, the wire goes straight from the brake switch into the loom.

You took yer time to fit it. Any probs give us a shout. You think you could take a pic of the alarm connector if you take off the rear seat fairing? Ta.

Mav if i could find a way of continuing making stuff at a reasonable price then i would do so but the rising costs of raw materials is getting beyond a joke. add to that the reluctance of laser companies to do small runs at a reasonable cost. it takes me the better part of 3 days to do 10 of the Gizmos never mind the time it takes to fettle the brackets and other stuff.
i doubt very much that folks would pay any more than what i charge at the moment and TBH i done it to keep me entertained more than anything but due to my recent ill health i have not had the will or the enthusiasm i had. my health is improving but it has a while to go yet and who knows i might just start doing small runs of this and that. i have parts here but don't have the energy or want to put things together at the moment. i have let people down as much as myself and i feel bad for doing it. |
