I need to get off my fat lazy backside and get you the info you need. TBH I need to give Alison a visit I haven't seen her in weeks. Let me know what details you want and I'll get them to ya!

BTW those that have different bikes to the SV then i have good news. it seems that a lot of other makes of bike come with the exact same brake light switch as the SV. |

![]() from what i have seen on the net it looks like Triumph use the same brake light switch as a looooot of manufacturers. its the same connector but black instead of white. all i need you to do is follow the rear brake light switch (the one connected to your rear brake lever with the spring on it) wire up till you find the connector and take a pic. if not i spied the same connector under the pillion seat. |

Excelent piece of kit & actually makes me reluctant to change bike & be without it.
Easy to connect, extremely tidy and blends in extremely well with the rest of the wiring. It's also pasted the endurance test, powering my Sat-Nav & Heated grips on two Euro Tours. I couldn't be without it & would buy another in an instant. Feedback: I have to remove "module" when charging the battery otherwise the relay keeps clicking. Out of fear of damaging the beloved ( The relay not the SV ![]() Otherwise it's perfect! THANK YOU Bibio ! I cannot remember what I paid, but it wasn't nearly enough ![]() |

theoretically there is no way that a charger can cause that. but if the +/- are back to front on the charger that would cause a positive signal down the negative which in turn would travel back up through the brake light switch connector as the rest of the bikes positive wiring is now negative (everything is now back to front) which in turn would indeed cause the relay to click on and off if the charger is a PWM type. i have on occasion connected my optimate to the bike and have no such problem. |
