I make the spacers to be a press fit in top of rods, it's much easier to do with the rods that you're going to use there, as that alleviates the hassle of "you sent me these and they don't go in" etc.
I have one set of damper rods I can do on an exchange basis for anyone who needs them doing, including opening comp holes up and welding up the rebound hole. Or if anyone isn't in that much of a rush I can generally get them back off to you within 2 days i.e if I get them Monday I can post them back Wednesday worst case. For curvy it's easier, I've got 3 or 4 sets of rods I can mod and do on exchange, you do the job then send me your stock rods back. Or if anyone wants to send me loose forks or bring an entire bike to Halifax, no problem ![]()

definately want to make the spacers a push fit, then there is no danger of them moving when you put the damper roads back in.
The guy who did my spacers made them a few thou short of being press, so they fitted in nicely but i could pull them out again. With the springs etc on top of the emulators there's no issue but it would have been easier if the spacers were tight in the damper rod. |

Also for th guys that have fitted the debrix emulators, if you had wanted to tweak the emulator preload once fitted, how did you do it?
As i see it, i can't see the emlator without draining the oil, and even then i'd need a long, small extension to get in there with the right allen key bit. It seemed an odd size allen key head also, (imperial i think), none of the metric ones in my set seemed to ft nicely. |

Don't drain oil.
Take spring out, fish emulator out, adjust, drop back in.

Hey guys
Quick update. Order status still says "processing". I'll be chasing them up today to figure out how long until they ship. |
