I'd say the only talent footballers have is kicking a ball about a bit. Which I have never been too impressed with either

Or are you suggesting that's another area where our painfully manipulative government should be attempting to legislate - nanny knows best.

It's not footballers who do that, whatever they get paid they get their position from being able to play the game with a specific talent - no ability, no job in premiership football. The particularly stupid aspirations are reserved for 'musicians', most of which have little discernible talent, but happen to fit a look or a demographic that a record company has identified as not thus far being fully exploited.

PS. The car is vile and utterly tasteless.

Good resurrection.

For a minute there, I thought Liam Simpson had been getting busy with cars too.

I know its an old thread...

Only the top league team palyers/associates get paid stupid amounts. They make up for what, probably less than 1% of all the people involved in football?
Thats a pretty low percentage. The best of the best in any industry/work get paid stupid amounts. I bet a higher percentage of people working in banks get paid equivelent stupid amounts????

I notice he was in court today on a charge of driving without licence and insurance. Stopped in Manchester on Altrincham Road apparantly.

Anyone see the bling chrome mini in the news the other week, bloke payed about 38 grand for it and couldn't get insured because of the chrome paint job, said it was the most expensive mirror he ever bought.
How the f*** can Diouf insure a McMerc with no license.

Because the insurance co's don't actually check if you have a licence.
