Fair enough. I've settled for pilot road II and have no complaints (i've done 33,000mi).

It just seems you are making a pretty dam kick ass bike. can't wait to see her finished.

Hope you manage to make a ride-out across europe to england to join in one of the SV annual rideouts here so we can see you and your baby in the flesh.

Thanks, William.
I think that the bike will not be so comfortable to take 2000 miles trip with it..... but yet - who knows

I just mount the ignition in front of my left knee
It's look really good, it's solid and I put it there quite easily.

-Two bolts (30mm. long upper and 60mm. long lower) with hex heads for easy work in this tight place.
-Two washers in front, to hide a little bigger holes of the ignition.
-One spacer (30mm. long) for the lower bolt, between the ignition and thermostat cap.
-One nut for the upper bolt.

Question,
Wont that be a bit awkward on starting it? ie holding the clutch in and turning the key down by your left?

You could always bypass the clutch switch to remove that need, but I havnt read anywhere of you doing that.

You only press the starter button on the bars while holding the clutch in, you should have already turned the feckin key by then .
