What's the point? Performance wise you could valve your forks to work as good as any.
Stock GSXR1000K1-3 are not ohlins, they are kayaba.

I mean that I found a cheap pair of "Ohlins" forks for "GSXR-1000" K1/2 and just wondering - can I put them together with other K5 parts on my bike....
But you are right! -It's not reasonable anyway.... ![]() |

Well, the frame goes to "acrylic-mat-gloss-metallic-mix-something" paint job, that the dyer told me, will be absolutely like original but with prescription of him self
![]() ![]() He show me two bikes - "Hayabusa" and "GSXR"-K6 painted with this mix-paint and i think they looks great! When the frame is dry it looks mat-black, but when splash it with water it looks metallic ![]() He guarantied, that the paint wouldn't scuff or chip from the boots, shingle or something.... BUT i prefer to buy a frame protectors like this. Next will be the wheels, but first must straighten out and clean them. ![]() ![]() Now is the bad news.... My top yoke is cracked ![]() ![]() ![]() It's not much and some people told me to weld it... but i prefer to buy new one. |

Thanks.... I'm looking for new one, but is hard to find with reasonable price
![]() Now I have two other questions... Will the "GSXR-1000" K4 brake and clutch levers fit to "GSXR-600/750" K5 master cylinder and clutch? And can i use the "SV" rear sprocket with "GSXR-600" K5 rear sprocket carrier? The "SV" rear brake disc is identical with "GSXR" one and fits perfect on the "GSXR" wheel, but are the rear sprocket mounting bolts identical? In Vortex site there is different part numbers for "SV" and "GSXR" rear sprockets, but i think that the difference can be only in mountin bolts ![]() Last edited by Kuku; 11-11-09 at 10:07 PM. |

That cracked top yoke is the part where the ignition barrel fixes to it isnt it? had the bike been stolen? usually trying to break the steering lock off a bike cracks this like as yours in the photo.
