Ok a bit of research here, this forum seems to be one of the best around for the SV's i have been making the yokes for a while now and hopefully everyone is happy with them. I was wondering if any other parts would be useful (maybe footpeg lowering plates, mirror extenders, headlight brackets etc etc)
I am only a very small company and so this is why i can do the discounts for the people who support us, if you can think of anything that can be made in billet alloy let us know. If its a part that needs testing and you arent far from Lancashire then your bike could be the test bike for the new part which would mean we could discuss a very favourable price for helping us out. You support me so i want to also support you, i would be open to thinking about any product however crazy, if you think it would go down well with SV owners or you know of an item that already exists but the price or availability isnt great then reply to this thread and we can discuss it. I look forward to hearing what you think. We have a cnc milling machine waiting to make some new parts? Ta! Matt ![]() Last edited by Matts-Yokes; 12-07-10 at 12:54 PM. |

I think (but I'm not sure, I'm only a rookie) that you can only get them by ordering a complete set of fairings, which is the big issue with them.
Edit: Plus I have a bent one, so yeah ![]() Edit edit: A bent fairing that is, not my willy. |

+1 another vote for fairing brackets.
R&G crash bungs replace the largest components, but its all the little bits that are required that are hard to find. You can get them but they're about £70 a pack for a bunch of small brackets and nuts & bolts.

Dunno if it's possible out of the material you use but what about producing front spindles which would allow for the gsxr front end mod but keeping the current sv wheel this would be to avoid the requirement of a speedo sensor mod.

http://www.banditmania.co.uk/roca_products.htm (item 659) If you can produce them for <£50 you'd sell a few, banditmania were the only place I could find that sell them so got royally ripped off. They aren't even a fantastic fit |

I wouldnt say no to some healight brackets for the pointy naked which have a hole for aftermarket indicators.
Also, as an idea. I made a disc lock holder which attaches to the spare holes if you remove the rear passenger pegs. I made it out of foamex and used a couple of delrin spacers so it doesn't foul the hugger under load. Looks ok and gives the spare holes a purpose in life. Perhaps you could manufacture something similar. Last edited by FG1; 12-07-10 at 02:33 PM. |
