Bikes of all ages, shapes etc race in a time trial around a course laid out (and I kid you not) around Marks & Spencer car park. Practice starts quite early on the Sunday morning, with a cavalcade of all the competitors around the town centre roads about mid-day before the competition starts. Its a good day out, especially as it is all free, with trade stands, bike stands etc. James Toseland is there this year, James May seems to always turn up and last year Agostini took part too.

M&S car park in Northwich is huge. Very bumpy too cos of salt mine subsidence. The roads into the town aren't that good so I'd get there early. Remember MM2 on the Saturday...
