Spadeadam is pretty interesting as it's the old Blue Streak testing area so there's a lot of history around the place. It's now an electronics warfare training range meaning I get to work on and play with tanks all day

Still in the signals, done 10 years as a radio tech ( now Systems engineers!!)
Got myself a right chusty posting at the moment though. Working with BT to deliver the military's fixed comms services, i work on the secret side of things (shhhh or ill get the boys down from Hereford! LOL ). SO my next posting may well be to Civ Div. So were you in a different Signals cos the one i know (mainstream units) is the royal Corps of Bull****!. The rest of the Army knows how bull****ty the signals are, mainly because its full of people who want to be in the Infantry really!! and are to thick to do the beter trades so run around pretending to be military gods, then try inflicting it on the rest of us while we just try to get on with our trade and job I had a cracking time in Ulster as well. my advice to anyone joining the services, JOIN THE RAF, you get treated like a person not as a kid.
