For the road? Yes.

I cant even use full throttle in first or the damn bike will flip (mostly thanks to down gearing it a tooth at the front.)

Yeah you can, you just need to balance everything with the rear brake.

What you mean lower the gearing more!?

If you mean to but it back higher then wouldnt that defeat the point of lowering it in the first place?

I have to short shift 1st atm but im happy to do that as 6th now pulls VERY nice, no need to change down even for overtakes

Ya big girls blouse, use the full power in 1st and control the front height with the rear brake. It is very fun.....

I am a little scared tis true. I get 2nd/3rd gear power wheelies out of some of the corners on the local bypass.

It's looking more and more likely that when the R1 comes out, I'll be there and maybe helping when it's built out of the crate

Apprenticeship at a joint Suzuki and Yamaha dealer, which I am the only applicant for, which I approached them and asked for, which I have an interview for very very shortly
