Wow amazing service, my battery and optimate arrived this morning.
No more multimeters and resistors for charging and crossing my fingers before starting my bike

Oops, have I bought the wrong battery? It's an inch or 2 taller than my old one. My bike's a naked curvy btw.
The battery fits in the holder, but is too tall to sit the fusebox holder back on top. |

The old one is a YT12A-BS

That is definately the wrong size!
You can use the YTZ14S-BS which is the same size as the YT12A-BS but higher performance. Give Debbie a call to sort it out for you. |

I feel like an idiot. I usually check things like this properly, and am the first to criticise people for this kind of thing! I thought all SVs took the same size. Oh, well, assume makes an ass of u and me!
Anyway, I spoke to Debbie, lovely woman, and have bought the other one for £48.00. I need to return the old one now for refund, she gave me a number for the return. Where do I need to write this? How do I go about sending it back. Should have asked her but I thought it'd be on the website. Cheers |

Can you just take the fusebox tray out? Try that, the tray does sod all.
