i gonn amake me own- the neighbour gettin me the steel from work..is it hard to cut with a hacksaw??

is it worth doin if u aint got an undertray - won't look so sweet will it>!!

I cut mine with a hacksaw, Lots of elbow work required, buy remember old chiness proverb.... ( Well metelsmith teacher )
Let the Blade of the Hacksaw do the work...

Well yea....sounds silly but the more you relax cutting with the saw the better the cut, as long as you stay on the cutting line.

I got my dogbones sorted a mate of mine has a big metal workshop so we used a full on cutting tool to do it in no time.

Only problem now is fiting it. I took the bike apart yesterday and jerry rigged it up with that ladder technique but the bike just didn't feel secure, so I gave up and put it back together again .

What did everyone else who've done this do to keep the bike up without a rear stand?

I used the car ramp's at work, balancing on the sidestand and tied a harness to the Pillon grab rail and lifted the ramps up so the rear wheel left the ground by 1cm...

It worked but.... Yeee-har Cowboy time.
