The guy I bought mine from was based in Birmingham, but ive checked and hes not got any left for sale at the moment.

Ive bought other stuff from HK before and the only downside is it takes a couple of weeks to arrive, just make sure you pay with paypal so youve got some come back.

Still havent mounted it to the bike yet, the mount I made out of stretchy fabric just tore in half so ive had to go back to the drawing board, I really want to mount it on the indicator stalks because I think this position would be ideal.

As to not knowing where its pointing its got quite a wide angled lense so as long as its generally in the right direction it doesnt matter!

As soon as ive got things sorted, hopefully soon, ill post a video to show off and you can decide if its worth it.

I've got two MD80's now so I can charge one while I record with the other

Only £25 with a 8GB card

... unless you go to dogcamsport where they want £65 for a MD80 with a 2GB card!

Where did you get those from Darren, Ebay? Also where do you mount yours? I made a mount for the indicator stalks but that vibrates too much, the best position ive found so far is on my jacket but its far from ideal.

Ive seen some people mounting them to the inside of their helmets but ive got a Caberg Trip with a funny shaped front, plus theres not a lot of room there.

If I can iron these problems out I intend to get a second one to extend record time.

Yeh I got them from a hong kong seller on ebay. I haven't tried them on the bike yet but I've got one velcro'd to the chin of my lid. Tried it on the inside but it hit my nose.

Whats with all the duct tape mate?

Ive tried mounting my cam all over; on the indicator stalk (excellent position view wise but too much vibration), on my collar (got rid of the vibration but looks down too much), front jacket pocket, shoulder vent. The only place left is on my lid where yours is, but because mines a flip front im going to have to make some kind of strap thing.

You will be glad to know though that the picture quality is very good, even in low light.

it's to hold on a home made wind deflector under the chin. That lid is horrible for wind noise

Yeh I know the camera is good quality. I tried it out in the garden a few months ago. There's a link to the youtube video in this thread somewhere. There's also a video from my old camera mounted on the indicator stalk. But like you say it is very wobbly
