I got most of those with the one I got from ebay, the only extras seem to be the 2 straps and the pouch. We will have to compare mounts next time we meet up CF, I need to fiddle with mine to get the right angle but think its the best I can come up with, another problem is stopping the quality dropping so much when you post to the net.

Just bought a Contour 1080HD camera. Going to mount it in the nose of my race bike and run it at 1280x960 x 60fps

Really small little unit, but seems sturdy and well made - I'll post up some videos after first meeting of the season (15th May)

Ok, this is bugging me again

Can anyone recommend a decent set up for about 150 pounds?
Things like:
- remote mic,
- remote start/stop button,
- external power,
and of course decent recording quality would be welcomed

Thanks

EDIT:
Anyone tried this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mini-Bullet-Ca...item4aa0f10e37

That is the same bullet camera as the Mini DVR2. It's just a different recorder. So it will be about the same quality (not brilliant). Plus you'll have the same problem of finding somewhere to mount it

To be fair, it's always going to be a problem.

Yeh, it's the same with all of them. I've kind of given up trying to find somewhere to mount mine

Hmm, from the clips druid posted earlier in the thread it looks quite good, in my opinion. I know it's the previous model, so that would mean that the mini dvr2 won't be worse

[1] Sorry for lack of SV action but the plan was to set the NC35 up, didn't end up that way because it ****ed it down except for this session.

The quality of the video you've posted the other day was great, just shame about the price :/
Anybody going to the US soon?

EDIT:
Any idea how much the import duty would roughly be on: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VHOLDR-CONTOUR...item335cf42da9

It does say in the advert that they will put the declared value low for you if you ask them so you dont pay tax.
