What do you think about the ContourHD cam, or the GoPro HeroHD?
They look nice. EDIT: Is £200 for a bike camera a lot (I have no idea)? Last edited by dyzio; 09-11-09 at 12:31 PM. |

When I was talking to the Dogcam guys they were saying the new contour is amazing quality and is what the BBC use. One thing I would check is that you can charge the camera WHILE recording as one battery will only record 1 or 2 hours. I've got the Mini DVR-2 which is pretty good, but not brilliant quality. I'll probably sell it and get something better. |

Depends on the quality, I'm happy with the quality of my camera but I didn't pay loads for it. Think they're supposed to be around £50 2ndhand
Here's the quality of mine (also bear in mind the youtube hosted vids are of deteriorated quality from the originals): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FgRsk_AcpI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6tkW1QgrhA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYn2XVwCggY I wouldn't be able to justify spending £200 on a bike camera bearing in mind what it is, what it does and how much I use it. On the GM I was just using a digicamera cable tied to my bars and I've used my phone gaffataped to a mirror before ![]()

I know, it's annoying. That was attached to a spare bar end which was put in where the indicator normally goes. I thought it was going to be pretty solid but I think it must have been the fairing wobbling about. I don't know where else to try
