Yup, fitted as compensation for inflicting the rusty oil cooler, cheapo fuel injection, dodgy crankcases, weak rods and inferior finish on you. The shape's a matter of taste
Much ownage dished by Northy there. Take it!
Nah, I reckon jealousy, bet he used to pull the pigtails of the girls he fancied at school too
I noticed no remarks about the bike now, trying to change the subject and pick on Northwind...

Well, to be fair with me you also get poor finish, weak rods (well, legs) and I don't even come with a clock. I wouldn't be surprised to find I'm rusting either.

Alternatively, wear a watch on your wrist.
I have never found a particular need to have a clock on a bike.
Tempus Fugit perhaps?

I used to do this on my old 125, however it got kinda difficult trying to pull the glove sleeve, then the jacket sleeve, + any other clothes I was wearing to try and look @ the watch-think I only ever achieved it at traffic lights.

Once I got the POINTY, it wasn't a problem. As to why I need it, useful to know if I'm running late, early etc, and I just like to know.

Watches are dangerous- if you see you're running late you'll end up rushing and getting yourself squashed

I fitted an old watch face in place of the enamel badge on my leather key fob, brilliant idea ! I'd never seen it before and thought about selling them on ebay and making my fortune. But the built in clock on my pointy put an end to that particular business venture.
