Although posted before, this is how you do it on a curvy
 Perminant feed/ back lit/ weatherproof all for £4 of Ebay. Triumph ST fairing clock, works even to this day. Cheers Mark.

Ok lets get to the POINTof it all, in my poll pointys seem to be winning and to be honest we can all see why. . . They have an on board clock . . . and FI . . . and better looks . . . etc
Its not the curvys fault that they are old and when those of us who like a bit of winter riding on our pointys are out and about we will remember the guys and gals in the garage trying to unfreeze there Carbs to join us... i sense alot of friction on this subject. . . and owning a RED 05 pointy myself im glad im on the winning team  . . . you know we are right, ( wow 30 sv curvy riders have just pulled up outside my work . . . . . . oh sh!t )
